Dear Nicholas Routzen,


I am a junior graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology with my Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Photography in May of 2012. I am interested in finding an intern position within the field of photography.

Throughout my time in the photography department I have enjoyed seeking opportunities to learn from people in the industry, ranging from artist talks to personal meetings with photographers. I have acquired a sense of independence and comfort on how to present my work, as well as working with others in a photographic establishment.

My prior experiences as the in-house photographer for designer Betsey Johnson has allowed me to improve my organization and archival skills, as well as my time management. Also, over my photographic career I have been able to master such programs as Adobe Photoshop, Bridge, Capture One and Final Cut Pro. I've also come to appreciate the importance of maintaing clear and precise interactions with groups in a work environment.
